Muriel Montgomery is a Los Angeles based actor and improviser. After earning her degree in Philosophy from Seattle University, Muriel moved to Chicago to study sketch and improv. Muriel spent five years in Chicago performing with the Harold team, Dream Cannon, various independent groups and with the main stage musical improv house ensemble, the Deltones. Muriel also toured as an understudy with Baby Wants Candy and appeared in American Theater Company’s adaptation of It’s a Wonderful Life. As half of the comedy duo, Ugly and Delicious, Muriel wrote and performed sketch and improv at various theaters in Chicago and Seattle, including the Chicago Improv Festival and Chicago Sketchfest. Last year Muriel traded the bitter winters and delicious hotdogs of Chicago for the sun-splashed concrete of Los Angeles. Muriel is incredibly happy to be performing on the Nerdist School Stage with her house team, Karen. Muriel can also be seen performing musical improv at iO West and The Clubhouse.
