Matthew Acevedo is a writer, musician, and performer from La Verne, CA. He is a host on Nerdist’s Doctor Who Companion and is a writer for Nerdist Industries. He is the founder of "Quetzalcoatl", San Diego State University's annual Improv festival and Nerdfest, Nerdist Schools Improv festival. He performs with Mulligan and Beyond the Disney Vault, house teams at The Nerdist School. He began improvising in 2010, and has attended The Nerdist School since 2014. Matthew has also studied and performed at the National Comedy Theatre, San Diego, and was President of San Diego State's Iota Eta Pi. His show credits include: Streets, Fjord, Messy Avocado, National Comedy Theatre's Main Stage and Sunday Company, Tobcosa, SDSU's Iota Eta Pi and Half Baked.
